TC Clinical Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill our open positions of FT and PT Recovery Specialist, to provide support and assistance to individuals in an all-male residential treatment/recovery setting during the day, evening, or on the weekends. Must have previous experience.

Responsibilities include:

Client Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of clients during the night. Conduct regular rounds to monitor clients, check for any potential hazards, and respond to any emergencies or disturbances that may occur.

Crisis Intervention: Overnight recovery specialists must be prepared to handle crises that may arise during nighttime hours. This could include assisting clients in emotional distress, managing conflicts between residents, or responding to medical emergencies appropriately until additional help is available.

Medication Monitoring: May be responsible for administering medications as scheduled, ensuring proper dosage, and documenting medication administration.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records. Document any significant incidents, observations, or client interactions that occur during their shift. Updating daytime staff about any nighttime events.

Support and Client Engagement: Provides emotional support and reassurance to clients when needed. Bottom of Form

Minimum qualifications for Recovery Specialist will include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a recognized addiction counseling or related certification program, and or relevant work experience in the field of addiction recovery. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to facilitate groups.

Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, an understanding of trauma-informed care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
