Bloom – Direct Care Staff

Bloom is currently looking for full and part-time Direct Care staff to minster to the girls in our home.  Direct Care staff are responsible for direct oversight of the girls in their daily activities, administration of medications, cooking, hospitality, accountability, care and general household functions. Writing skills for documentation.  Each staff member at Bloom must be fully committed to following the call of ministry at Bloom and have mature and compassionate Christian character.   Each applicant will be background checked and must successfully pass CORI, SORI and Fingerprint clearance.  CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus.  State-mandated training is provided upon hire.  If you have a heart for missions and a desire to serve – apply!

Bloom – Apprentice Opportunities

Bloom is currently looking for apprentices to minister at the adolescent girls home!  Housing and a monthly stipend, as well as continuing education opportunities are provided to each apprentice during their 6-12 month apprenticeship.  Looking for musicians, worship giftings and public speaking (or at least a desire to grow in these areas!)

Vermont Women’s Home – Program Director

Job Title: Program Director
Reports To: Executive Director
Position Status: Full Time
Position Summary: The Program Director shall provide leadership and operational management of all activities at the center they direct. Director shall be responsible for the overall spiritual health of the center. The Program Director shall provide leadership and management at his/her center:
  • Provide leadership and management of employees.
  • Lead the organization in the area of fundraising and oversee all fundraising activities and expenses.
  • Assign all fundraising duties to the appropriate staff.
  • Shall assist the Executive Director in all speaking and presentation assignments.
  • Responsible for fiscal management.
  • Responsible to handle legal matters in coordination with the Executive Director. Manage personnel and facilities in accordance with TCNE/NJ policies and procedures.
Job Skills and Requirements
1. Christ-centered behavior, i.e., treating people with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity at all times.
2. Minimum Position Qualifications:
a. Training Teen Challenge senior staff experience, minimum five years.
b. Hands-on PC computer knowledge, understanding and skills.
c. Maintain an acceptable driving record.
d. Knowledge of the Bible and ability to ably and correctly apply its principles and teachings in communication with all internal persons, staff, residents, families, and volunteers.
3. Ability to effectively meet required deadlines.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
5. Self-motivated and flexible within all areas of responsibility.
6. Ability to foster a safe environment where people will feel comfortable sharing private pertinent Information for effective treatment services.
7. Maintain and comply with all governmental and organizational standards and expectations.
8. Optimize internal and external relationships in ways that exemplify high Christian standards.

Vermont Women’s Home – Program Supervisor

Job Title: Program Supervisor
Reports To: Program Director
Position Status: Full Time Position

Summary: The Program Supervisor shall provide leadership and management of all day-to-day activities at the center they oversee. The Program Supervisor shall :

  • Enforces all polices, discipline, resident incident reports, passes and visits.
  • Makes daily program schedule, including shift coverage, resident daily schedule, work jobs, etc.
  • Handles all medical and legal needs of the residents, to include medication, appointments, transportation
  • Oversees the maintenance of the building and all vehicles.
  • Responsible for the Kitchen/EBT, including making menus, ordering, donations, budgeting, and bringing residents to state offices as needed.
Job Skills & Requirements

Vermont Women’s Home – Admission Coordinator

Job Title: Admissions Director

Reports To: Program Director

Position Status: Full Time

Position Summary: The Admissions Director shall provide management of all aspects of resident admissions at the center they oversee. The Admissions Director shall :

  • Maintain an active 24/7 ability to react to intake calls.
  • Interacts with law enforcement, probation, and parole to maintain a good working relationship.
  • Oversees that all confidentiality policies are followed, securing of records, HIPPA laws reviewed and enforced.
  • Maintains all resident files, both physical and online. Is proficient in using the myteenchallenge student database.
  • Maintains a list of detox facilities and alternate programs for families to refer to as needed.
  • Maintains a current list of beds available.
